Microsoft Outlook integration in Flowtix

Connect a personal Outlook or Hotmail account, or a Microsoft 365 account, for supported organization email sending and calendar synchronization in Flowtix.

How this integration fits Flowtix

  • Flowtix supports personal Outlook/Hotmail accounts and Microsoft 365 accounts for the current Outlook email and calendar integration path.
  • The connected Microsoft authorization is used for supported organization email sending and calendar synchronization rather than for unrestricted access to every Microsoft service.
  • Microsoft Teams meeting creation has a separate eligibility requirement and should not be assumed from Outlook connectivity alone.

Use the Microsoft account that matches the workspace

The Outlook integration can use either a personal Outlook/Hotmail identity or a Microsoft 365 account for the supported Flowtix email and calendar path. The account should be one the organization is comfortable using for customer-facing communication and scheduling.

Send organization email through the connected account

When the Microsoft connection is authorized and healthy, supported Flowtix email workflows can use that account for organization sending. Provider limits, account policy, Flowtix permissions, and plan entitlements still apply.

Synchronize supported calendar activity

The same Outlook integration can support Flowtix calendar synchronization for the connected Microsoft account. As with Google Calendar, the supported path focuses on Flowtix scheduling workflows rather than promising parity with every calendar capability available directly in Microsoft products.

Keep Teams eligibility separate

A personal Microsoft account can still be appropriate for Outlook email and calendar in Flowtix, but automatic Microsoft Teams meeting creation requires an eligible Microsoft 365 work or school account with Teams enabled.

If Teams is important to the workflow, confirm that requirement before choosing which Microsoft account to connect.

Reconnect when authorization needs attention

If the Microsoft authorization becomes invalid or Flowtix reports that the connection needs attention, reconnect the provider before depending on email or calendar workflows that use it.

Continue with this Flowtix integration path

Review the related Flowtix guidance before relying on the integration in production. Provider authorization, account eligibility, plan entitlements, organization settings, and service availability can still affect the workflow.
