How this integration fits Flowtix
- Gmail is organization-wide in Flowtix, and only the workspace owner can connect, reconnect, test, replace, or disconnect that connection.
- Flowtix uses the connected Gmail account for supported organization email sending and secure reply routing back into the Flowtix communication workflow.
- Flowtix does not read the connected Gmail inbox as part of this supported integration path.
Use one organization-wide Gmail connection
The Gmail connection belongs to the Flowtix organization rather than to each individual user. That keeps outbound customer email tied to a shared workspace identity instead of requiring every teammate to maintain a separate Gmail authorization.
Because replacing that connection can affect organization-wide sending and reply routing, Flowtix restricts Gmail connection management to the workspace owner.
Send supported organization email from Flowtix
When Gmail is connected and healthy, supported Flowtix email workflows can send through the authorized Gmail account. The exact workflow still depends on permissions, product entitlements, recipient data, and the authorization remaining valid.
A successful OAuth connection does not override provider limits or policy requirements that may apply to the connected Google account.
Route customer replies back into Flowtix
Customer replies are designed to return to Flowtix through the secure reply-routing workflow so authorized teammates can continue the conversation from the organization context.
This routing model is intentionally different from treating Flowtix as a general Gmail inbox reader. The public integration path is for supported Flowtix sending and reply handling, not broad mailbox access.
Keep authorization health visible
Provider authorization can expire, be revoked, or require attention. If Flowtix reports that Gmail needs reauthorization, reconnect the integration before relying on dependent email workflows.
The Integrations settings area also provides a test-email action when the connection is available to the workspace owner, which can help confirm the current sending path.
Protect the shared account intentionally
Because the Gmail connection can represent the organization in customer communications, owners should use an appropriate business account, protect access to the underlying Google identity, and disconnect or replace the integration when organizational ownership changes.

Review the related Flowtix guidance before relying on the integration in production. Provider authorization, account eligibility, plan entitlements, organization settings, and service availability can still affect the workflow.
