Key points
- Gmail is connected at the organization level by the workspace owner for supported email sending and reply routing.
- Google Calendar and Outlook can synchronize supported calendar workflows, while Teams meeting creation has an eligible Microsoft 365 account requirement.
- OAuth connections should be reconnected from Flowtix when permissions are revoked or provider authorization changes.
Gmail connection and reply routing
The workspace owner can connect Gmail for supported Flowtix email sending and secure reply routing. The current public integration model does not describe Flowtix as reading the connected Gmail inbox.
Because the connection is organization-scoped, replacing or reconnecting the Gmail account can affect the email workflow used by the workspace. Treat that change as an administrative action rather than a personal preference for one team member.
Google Calendar synchronization
Connect Google Calendar from the workspace integration settings when the organization wants supported Flowtix calendar events synchronized with the selected Google calendar.
If calendar events stop synchronizing, first review whether the connection is still authorized and whether the selected account or calendar has changed before recreating events manually.
Outlook email and calendar
Flowtix can connect a supported personal Outlook or Hotmail account or an eligible Microsoft 365 account for organization email sending and calendar synchronization.
The exact capabilities available through Microsoft depend on the account type and provider permissions granted during authorization.
Microsoft Teams meeting requirements
Automatic Teams online-meeting creation requires an eligible Microsoft 365 work or school account with Teams enabled. A personal Outlook account may support Outlook email and calendar without supporting Teams meeting creation.
If meeting creation is unavailable, verify the Microsoft account type and Teams eligibility before assuming the Flowtix connection is broken.
Reconnect safely when authorization changes
OAuth connections can stop working when a provider revokes access, an administrator changes organizational permissions, or the connected account changes. Reconnect through Flowtix rather than sharing tokens, passwords, or provider secrets with teammates.
After reconnecting, run a small controlled test for sending, calendar synchronization, or meeting creation before returning the integration to normal team use.
