AI usage and entitlement controls in Flowtix

See how Flowtix separates AI feature access from monthly AI-request and transcription capacity so organizations cannot accidentally treat AI usage as unlimited.

How this AI capability fits Flowtix

  • Feature entitlements decide which AI workflows an organization can use; monthly quotas separately decide how much supported AI work can run.
  • Starter includes 100 AI requests and no transcription minutes, Professional includes 1,000 AI requests and 500 transcription minutes, Business includes 5,000 and 2,500, and Enterprise uses custom limits.
  • Flowtix reserves and finalizes AI usage server-side and returns a controlled usage-limit response when an organization has exhausted the relevant allowance.

Separate feature access from capacity

An organization first needs the entitlement for the requested AI feature. For example, AI Workspace checks ai.chat, call analysis checks ai.call_analysis, email assistance checks ai.email, task assistance checks ai.tasks, and transcription checks ai.transcription.

Passing that feature gate does not make usage unlimited. The organization must also have capacity left under the applicable monthly AI or transcription allowance.

Use the public plan catalog as the source of truth

Starter includes 100 AI requests per month and no transcription minutes. Professional includes 1,000 AI requests and 500 transcription minutes. Business includes 5,000 AI requests and 2,500 transcription minutes. Enterprise uses custom AI and transcription quotas.

These limits are part of the canonical Flowtix plan definitions rather than only marketing copy on the pricing page.

Track usage on the server side

Supported AI workflows reserve usage before provider execution and finalize the usage record when the request completes or fails. This gives Flowtix a consistent enforcement point instead of relying only on a client-side counter.

Several AI workflows also use idempotency keys so short-window retries or repeated processing can be handled more safely without treating every duplicate as unrelated work.

Plan for limits in real operations

Teams should design higher-volume AI and transcription workflows around the plan capacity they actually have. A visible AI button does not override an exhausted quota, a missing entitlement, unavailable source data, or another organization-level control.
