How this AI capability fits Flowtix
- Transcription requires the ai.transcription entitlement, which starts on Professional.
- Professional includes 500 transcription minutes per month, Business includes 2,500, Enterprise uses custom capacity, and Starter includes no transcription minutes.
- Transcription is connected to supported call recordings and still respects recording availability, retention, organization scope, and usage controls.
Transcribe supported Flowtix recordings
The transcription workflow starts from a stored Flowtix call recording. Flowtix verifies the recording belongs to the current organization, is still within the applicable retention window, and has the provider media information needed before transcription begins.
If a completed transcript with the current speaker-context version already exists, Flowtix can reuse it instead of needlessly processing the same call again.
Use call-role context for clearer speaker meaning
Before sending supported audio for transcription, Flowtix resolves call-role context such as direction and available participant information. That context helps the transcription workflow preserve more useful speaker meaning for downstream call analysis and review.
Enforce transcription capacity separately from AI requests
Transcription minutes are a dedicated plan limit in addition to the general monthly AI-request allowance. Flowtix consumes transcription capacity based on recording duration and separately tracks the AI execution used to perform the transcription.
This is why a plan can have AI requests available while still being unable to transcribe another recording after its transcription-minute quota is exhausted.
Keep consent and retention requirements in view
A transcript is derived from a recorded conversation, so recording consent, permitted use, retention, and customer privacy requirements still apply. Organizations remain responsible for using recordings and transcripts lawfully in their jurisdictions and workflows.

Review the related Flowtix plan and product guidance before relying on AI in a production workflow. Feature entitlements, monthly usage, source-data availability, organization permissions, and user review still apply.
