Where the connection is managed
Zoom is connected from the authenticated Flowtix workspace. Each connection belongs to the organization that authorized it.
Open Settings > IntegrationsZoom integration
Use your authorized Zoom account to create, update, and delete Zoom meetings from Flowtix calendar events. This guide explains how to add, use, disconnect, and remove the integration.
A Flowtix workspace owner or administrator with permission to manage integrations should complete the connection. You also need a Zoom account that is allowed to authorize Marketplace apps under your Zoom account policies.
Zoom is connected from the authenticated Flowtix workspace. Each connection belongs to the organization that authorized it.
Open Settings > IntegrationsFlowtix uses Zoom only for the meeting workflow the user authorizes: identifying the connected Zoom user and creating, updating, or deleting meetings linked to Flowtix calendar events.
Sign in to your Flowtix workspace.
Open Settings, then Integrations.
Find Zoom and select Connect Zoom.
Sign in to Zoom if prompted, review the permissions requested by Flowtix, and approve the connection.
Return to Flowtix and confirm that Zoom shows Connected in Settings > Integrations.
After Zoom is connected, authorized Flowtix users can use Zoom as the meeting provider for supported calendar events.
Open Calendar in Flowtix and create a new event.
Choose Zoom as the meeting provider for the event.
Complete the event details and save the event. Flowtix creates the Zoom meeting and stores the returned meeting link with the calendar event.
Edit and save the Flowtix event when the meeting time or supported meeting details need to change. Flowtix updates the associated Zoom meeting.
Delete the Flowtix calendar event when the meeting is no longer needed. Flowtix deletes the associated Zoom meeting.
Disconnecting inside Flowtix and removing the app from Zoom serve different purposes. Use the option that matches what you want to do.
Go to Settings > Integrations, find Zoom, and select Disconnect. Flowtix removes the stored encrypted Zoom credential for that organization and marks the workspace connection as disconnected.
Disconnecting Flowtix does not delete existing Zoom meetings that were already created unless the related calendar event is deleted while the Zoom connection is active.
To revoke the authorization at Zoom, sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace, open My Library, find Flowtix, open the available actions, and choose Remove. Zoom account administrators may also manage installed apps from the Marketplace administration area.
After removing Flowtix in Zoom, also disconnect Zoom in Flowtix Settings > Integrations so the workspace no longer retains the local connection record or encrypted credential.
Flowtix requests only the Zoom scopes required for its current meeting workflow.
meeting:write:meetingCreate a Zoom meeting when an authorized Flowtix user schedules a calendar event with Zoom.
meeting:update:meetingUpdate the associated Zoom meeting when the linked Flowtix calendar event changes.
meeting:delete:meetingDelete the associated Zoom meeting when the linked Flowtix calendar event is deleted.
user:read:userRead the identity of the Zoom user who authorized the connection so Flowtix can display the connected account.
Zoom authorization is tied to the Flowtix organization that connects the account. Flowtix stores provider credentials outside the browser and uses the connection only for organization-scoped integration workflows.
OAuth credentials are stored as encrypted integration secrets and are not exposed as plain credentials to workspace users in the browser.
Flowtix stores the Zoom meeting identifier and meeting link with the related organization-scoped calendar event so the meeting can be managed from Flowtix.
Users can disconnect Zoom from Flowtix and can separately remove the app from their Zoom Marketplace account to revoke the Zoom authorization.
A reconnect can be required if the authorization expires, is revoked in Zoom, or Flowtix adds a Zoom capability that requires an additional permission. Reconnect from Settings > Integrations and review the permissions before approving them.
Some Zoom organizations require administrator approval for Marketplace apps. If Zoom prevents authorization, contact your Zoom account administrator and request approval for Flowtix.
